Pro Boxer - Mike Tyson
Mike Tyson has been arrested numerous times throughout his lifetime. This mug shot was taken when he was arrested on July 22, 1991 for raping a Miss Black America contestant, Desiree Washington, at the boxer's hotel room. On February 10, 1992, he was found guilty on one charge of rape and two counts of deviate sexual conduct and sentenced to 10 years in prison, of which four years were suspended.
Child Television Star - Pee Wee Herman (a/k/a Paul Reubens)
On July 26, 1991, Ruebens was arrested for masturbating in a triple X-rated theater in Sarasota, Florida. He was arrested again on November 16, 2001 after his Hollywood Hills home was searched and the police found over 30,000 pieces of erotica, some depicting children under the age of 18. Reubans was charged with a misdemeanor and in March 2004, he pleaded guilty to a single count of possessing obscene material.
"Gangsta" Rapper - 2Pac Shakur (a/k/a Tupac Amaru Shakur)
On November 18, 1993, 2Pac Shakur was arrested for sexually abusing a 19-year-old woman, who he met in a New York nightclub, and allegedly sodomized and sexually abused with three of his friends. In 1995, 2Pac was sentenced to prison for up to four and a half years, but received an early release after a few months. In September 1996, the 25-year-old Shakur was shot four times in the chest and died from the wounds.
Anthony Anderson - Actor
On July 28, 2004, while filming the motion picture "Hustle & Flow," Anderson, 33, and crew member Wayne Witherspoon, 42, were arrested and charged with raping a female movie extra who was visiting Anderson's trailer.
The woman claimed the two violated her with their hands and took nude pictures of her without her consent. According to the AP, Memphis' Judge Anthony Johnson said, "This is absolutely the most suspicious case I've ever heard." and later dismissed the charges.
NBA Star - Kobe Bryant
Bryant was charged with a single count of felony sexual assault against a 19-year-old woman at an exclusive spa in Colorado in the summer of 2003. The criminal charge was dropped when the accuser told prosecutors that she was not willing to testify against Bryant in criminal court.
Andy Dick
On July 16, 2008, Andy Dick, 42, was arrested on drug and sexual battery charges after the comedian allegedly groped and exposed the breasts of a 17-year-old girl. Riverside County police investigating the allegations found marijuana and a Xanax pill in Dick's pocket.
Reporter for KHWB in Houston - Christopher Cobb
In March 2005, Cobb was arrested for having sex with an underage girl he met online. While he was out on bail awaiting trial, he was ordered to stay out of Internet chat rooms. The order did not slow him down though and undercover reporters pretending to be underage girls caught him trying to engage in sex again in the chat rooms. Police arrested him and he admitted to violating the terms of his bail.
"King of Pop" - Michael Jackson
Pop singer Michael Jackson faced charges of conspiracy to commit child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion, three counts of committing lewd acts upon a child, attempted lewd acts upon a child, and four counts of administering intoxicating agents to assist in the commission of a felony. Jackson entered a plea of not guilty to the ten felony counts on April 30, 2004.
R&B Star - R. Kelly (a/k/a Robert Kelly)
R. Kelly was charged with 14 counts of child pornography and illegally engaging in sexual acts with a minor between November 1997 and February 2002.
Rock Star - Marilyn Manson (a/k/a Brian Warner)
In July 2001, during a show in Michigan, Manson was charged with criminal sexual assault after he allegedly rubbed his pelvis on a security guard's head. Michigan prosecutor told reporters, "Manson is charged with one count of criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree, which is an unlawful touching of another person in a sexual manner and one count of assault and battery for him spitting on a security guard, who, ironically was there for his protection.
The prosecutor added, "During an act of the performance, Marilyn Manson, who was wearing a G-string, began to rub his genital area and masturbate over his clothing. As he approached the security guard, who was facing towards the audience to keep people off the stage, he then spit on him and then sat down and wrapped his legs around him in a headlock if you will, and then began to gyrate rubbing his genitals against the head and back and neck area of the security guard."
Vincent Margera - Don Vito
Best known as Don Vito on the MTV show "Viva La Bam," Vincent Margera, 50, was arrested at the Colorado Mills Mall in Lakewood, Colorado after allegedly inappropriately groping three underage girls (two 12 and one 14 year old) during an autograph signing. He was held in the Jefferson County Jail for four days before posting a $50,000 bond. Currently he has a motions hearing on May 25, 2007, and a five-day jury trial scheduled to begin on August 27, 2007. If found guilty he could face up to six years in prison.
Artimus Pyle - Sex Offender
Thomas Delmer Pyle, former drummer of the rock bank Lynyrd Skynyrd and known to fans as Artimus Pyle, was arrested in St. Johns County, Florida after failing to register as a sex offender.
The 59-year-old drummer was sentenced to eight years probation and is required to provide authorities with his current address every six months after he pleaded guilty of attempted capital sexual battery on a victim under the age of 12 and principal to lewd and lascivious upon a child under 16 years old.
